Following a lengthy and diligent process by our project team of specialists, in collaboration with dedicated team at the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, we are delighted to share that today, our Development Application for the Margaret River Hotel was approved by the Regional Joint Development Assessment Panel of the Western Australia Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage.
We are excited to get to work, and begin realising the vision of a refreshed, modernised and expanded Margaret River Hotel that restores this important cultural icon to its former glory for everyone to enjoy.
Our commitment to the highest quality and integrity of materials and craftsmanship for this heritage building comes without compromise. Given Western Australia’s unprecedented labour and materials shortages, with south-west particularly impacted, the work will take time – longer than any of us would like – but Margaret River’s original hotel deserves only the best.
